What Are You Doing For Work?
New for 2024, we have introduced The 360 Cooking Step - a program to train food services skills in a proffessional cooking studio with support and instructors. In each day, attendees are encouraged to complete a 4 hour shift, under instructor supervision (job coaches).
Different types of Programs
Introduction
The 360 Cooking Studio’s space is well designed for diverse thinkers. Our kitchen is meticulously built to allow our participants to flourish in the environment. Each identical station is set up in the same way, consistent with the Montessori-inspired approach to creating a “prepared environment”. We develop skills for working in many industries. Our studio has unique features such as; the full commercial dishwashing station, food storage, laundry facilities, ADA compliant facility, accessible washrooms, teaching classrooms, and an adjacent lounge.
Program A
Next STEPs (Structured Transitional Employment Programs) . Up to 20 students participate in the standard Work Step programs. Working together through a complete lunch menu with recipes from start to finish.
At the end, membears enjoy a restaurant or café style dining experience. This is led by NextStep instructors. A deli cold lunch is prepared for the next day.
Program B
ACES & GUIDES (Camp Supports)
The program operates Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am-2pm; with community activities in the afternoons and city tours on the Tuesdays and Thursdays. This full-time program operates September to August, staffed at a 6:1 participant to staff ratio. Additional fees required for 1:1 or 3:1 additional support.
Cooking and facilitated community activities also operate evenings and weekends for special events, parties, and social groups.
